Kathmandu BernHardt Secondary School & College recently threw a talent-filled program to welcome the Freshers of 2080. The event was a celebration of Nepal’s rich culture and the talents of the students, and it left everyone amazed.
The program kicked off with the guests, founders, coordinators, HODs, teaching, and non-teaching staff taking their seats. The official inauguration was done by KB Maharjan, Founding Principal & Director of Kathmandu BernHardt Secondary School & College, by lighting a lamp. The national anthem was played, followed by the welcome speech by the Head Girl of Management Yunima Tamang. The school principal, Amrit Babu Bhatta, then addressed the gathering, welcoming all the new students speaking about the school’s mission and vision, and encouraging the new students to excel in their studies and extracurricular activities.
The entertainment session began with more than 30 performances by our students, including a ramp walk by the captains and appointees, cultural dances, singing, drama, caricatures, band performances, orchestra, and more. The dances were performed with a vibrant and energetic display of Nepal’s rich culture. The musicians of our school played a selection of popular Nepali songs, and the caricature acts were performed in a skit that was both funny and heartwarming.
The closing ceremony was led by the Head Boys Rayan KC and Abhaya Wagle, who thanked all the participants, guests, and the freshers. The freshers were thrilled to see the amazing performances and enjoy the welcome program.
The Welcome Program was a huge success and a great way to start the school year for the Class of 2080. It was a fun-filled event that helped the new students get to know their new school community and feel welcome. We are excited to see what they will achieve in the years to come.
As we look ahead to the future, it’s evident that Kathmandu BernHardt Secondary School & College is not just a place of learning; it’s a place where talents are nurtured and dreams are made.
