Student Election Day 2025: Fostering Leadership and Democracy at Kathmandu BernHardt School & College

At Kathmandu BernHardt School & College, we don’t just teach about leadership and democracy—we live it. Our recent Student Leadership Election for the academic year 2025 was a vibrant testament to our commitment to nurturing future leaders who are responsible, empathetic, and engaged.

From Grade 4 to Grade 10, students actively took part in an inspiring democratic process to elect their:

✅ Class Representatives (CRs)

✅ House Captains & Vice-Captains

The school transformed into a mini-electoral hub as students campaigned, advocated for change, and exercised their right to vote. From preparing speeches and posters to confidently addressing their peers, candidates embraced the opportunity to express their vision and values. Meanwhile, fellow students listened, evaluated, and cast their votes—just like in a real-world election.

   This engaging and educational process gave our students a first-hand experience in civic responsibility, public speaking, and team spirit. It wasn’t just about winning; it was about participating, supporting each other, and understanding what it takes to be a good leader.
